Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to expand market reach.
- Schedule and conduct regular client meetings.
- Provide pre-sales technical advice and product education, as well as after-sales support.
- Meet and exceed monthly sales targets to qualify for commission.
- Prepare client quotations and assist with sales strategies to maximize ROI.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Attend seminars, webinars, and exhibitions to enhance industry knowledge.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, procurement, logistics, and technical support.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 2-4 years of relevant sales experience (technical sales preferred).
- Knowledgeable in automation and renewable energy sector (advantageous)
- Matric certificate (IT background advantageous).
- National Diploma or BTech in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering (advantageous).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (English & Afrikaans required).
- Problem-solving mindset with critical thinking skills.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Self-motivated and open to learning and professional growth.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally and internationally.
- Professional, well-organized, and able to work under pressure, including after-hours if required.
