SILO DEMONSTRATION
HmT’s technical department developed a live mini silo demonstration, highlighting continuous level monitoring combined with an auger and load cell for precise weighing during bag filling.
Products Used:
IFM: Continuous Level Radar Sensor on top of the auger and a Point Level Inductive Sensor used on the side of the silo.
LS Electric: We used the economic seriers HMI and one of our brick type PLC's and switchgear.

SMART PUMPING SYSTEM
Another impressive demo from HmT’s technical department was a live irrigation system powered by an LS Electric H100 drive. The system displayed constant pressure, with multi-pressure setpoints. The PLC displayed remote, real-time monitoring of water pressure and flow rate through cloud-like functionality to satisfy a wide range irrigation needs. Eyes were drawn to the screen, where figures shifted with each pulse of water, demonstrating the meticulous control of the system.
Products Used:
LS Electric: H100 VFD
IFM: IO-Link Modual with Pressure Sensor and Flow Meter that recorder temperature, flow and totalizing. We also used a gauge meter with a pressure switch and capacitive point level sensors stuck to the tank.
Unitronics: High-end all in one 5'inch HMI and PLC, with Unicloud subscription.
Weidmuller: Switch mode DC Power Supply
WLink: Industrial Cellular Router for internet connectivity to the PLC.
